Date!

Next time I go on a date, I don’t want to be faced with two clashing egos sizing each other up, fighting for dominance. I want to meet a person who I can bond over silly childhood stories, sad pasts, and each other’s flaws. Because we don’t truly bond of success, we bond over vulnerability.

I want someone who is open with their failures and weakness, and faces it, and can have a laugh about it. It shows me that they are an intelligent human being, that they are capable of deep thought and self criticsm, and that they do not have a fragile ego.

If ever I meet that person, I will tell her I am falling in love already. Because that’s also who I am. Someone who’s not afraid to love.
